Possum Ridge boat ramp provides free access to Taylorsville lake. The ramp is accessed through the state park on Park Rd.
Chowning Lane Boat Ramp provides free access to Taylorsville lake. The ramp is accessed from Chowning Ln.
Van Buren boat ramp on lake Taylorsville is open year around to any trailerable recreational boat free of charge. Access to restrooms and shore fishing.
Taylorsville Lake Tailwater Access is a park behind the Taylorsville Dam where the water from the lake is released into Salt River. Just before (.3 miles) you get to the recreational park there is a sideroad off of the Corps of Engineers Tailwater Rd which leads to a paved parking lot and a small watercraft boat launch. From this location you have a 4-hour float downstream to the next boat ramp which is the Taylorsville City Ramp.
Most popularly used as the exit ramp to the kayakers who launched from the Tailwater ramp. This small watercraft boat ramp on Salt River is on W River Road with paved parking across the street. Look for a big cinder block building with a mural of Native Americans canoeing as a landmark to find the parking lot.
