While planning your vacation on the Bourbon Trail, it might be necessary to book multiple cottages for group events. Below is a map of all the cottages available to rent at the Edgewater Community. It is important to note that all the of cottages are individually managed and each cottage varies. All of the cottages are well maintained as evident by their reviews; the biggest differences are the hot tub, deck size, and cable TV.
At Cottage 37 we are proud to announce our new Deck Addition of 224 square feet which combined with the standard deck built with all the cottages equals 414 sq feet of private outdoor living space. Last year, in listening to our guests; we decided to upgrade our standard 29 channel cable package to Direct TV. You won’t miss the big game while staying with us. We take a lot of pride in our hot tub to ensure the water is always clean and crystal clear.
All of the cottages are in good condition and the grounds are beautiful. We highly recommend group events, family reunions, and wedding receptions at Edgewater. The front office is able to assist in organizing events. Without leaving the community there is a lot of outdoor space for large picnics, sporting events, and relaxing by the pool.
Right outside of Edgewater is the Tailwater Recreational Park which has a large picnic shelter, grills, picnic tables, bathrooms, and two concrete fishing piers that run along both sides of salt river. Another great spot for group picnics, is at the Dam Overlook Picnic Area which is less that a mile away. The Dam Overlook has access to public bathrooms and tables on top of the Taylorsville Dam; alternatively, a trail from the Dam Overlook leads down to a rock beach on the Lake side of the dam. Their you can light a fire in one of the 5 fire pits and fish while you picnic or Kayak around Taylorsville lake.
