Edgewater Resort and Spa is a gated community on Taylorsville Lake in Spencer County, KY. The development was commissioned in 2007 and grew to 40 cottages that are all privately owned but rarely come up for sale. The land is sacred because it’s leased from the federal government via the US Army Corps of Engineers making Edgewater the only development on Taylorsville lake.
Strategically placed; Edgewater Resort sits on a ridge that overlooks the 3,050 acre lake but yet close enough to Taylorsville Marina that you can bike to the lake to fish. Many of the patrons that stay at Edgewater are seeking the lake in the summer time, nature in fall, a cozy getaway in winter, and Bourbon/wine Trail through the spring. The private community offers a sand volleyball court, park, fire pit, basketball, and a swimming pool all within walking distance from any cottage at Edgewater.
